Image Choices: Burchfield Style Butterfly or American Rabbit

The Burchfield butterfly was extrapolated from a sketch by Charles E. Burchfield that included many fanciful woodland creatures. The sketch hung in our dining room, in my direct view, and brought many a smile as we ate dinner. It is my hope that the butterfly on this dinnerware will continue to intrigue generations of children as they enjoy their meals.

The American Rabbit is a daily visitor outside my ceramics studio. It is often found nestled in the shade of a garden on a hot day or in plain view on grass as it listens to the hum of the wheel as I work.
